The gas keeps going up in a jobless America, what is the point of price gouging?

Who controls the gasoline controls.... well in the 1940's people where still driving horse and buggies and wagons. How many people are struggling trying to put gas in the tanks, food on the table, and not so many are growing their own foods any more there for farmers may not be enjoying the price gouging the grocery stores are. Have a hard time believing that one is off setting the other, when all in all there may be a more simpler way of doing things. Why buy an over priced honda, when car makers of honda's are only paying factory workers around $350.00 a month. The car comes to America and americans are spending over $23,000.00 for the car new. So whom are we paying what for? Stop over driving and fill up once a week. Who knows maybe it will push gas prices down, our government isn't helping we the people if it were it needs to lower the speed limit on super high ways gas prices may very well indeed drop down. Including heating oil. Is there no end to this madness in America? Who is helping whom.
