Why is mexican beer so expensive in the u.s.?

it was expensive even before nafta. the labor costs are much cheaper than in the u.s. it seems this is pure gouging considering the quality is not as good as many u.s. beers. my usual beer is genessee cream ale-delicious real beer taste at a good price.
