Does anyone know of an english speaking general discussion internet forum they can recommend?

I am not looking for a forum specialised on a particular subject, but rather a forum with a lot of categories to choose from. I have been previously recommended the Belarusian forum TYT.BY,(http://tut.by/) which at the moment has 20 categories and around 200 topis with over 300 000 members. Does anyone know of an english speaking equivalent?
