Is it weird I don't want to be friends with most people in my school?

Most people in my school are stoners, emos, or just depressing to be around. If I'm hanging with some people I just want to gouge my eyes out because they just sit there and do nothing, its like the complete opposite of my old school... this school has no life, its dead. My old school was full of life and had alot of cool people, so it is depressing to be in this school. I don't do drugs or smoke, and most people here do. If they offer me a smoke I just decline, these aren't the kinds of people I want to surround myself with because they are just really boring too. Is it weird I don't want to associate myself with people in my school?
