Is Scottish Football going places ?

The problem started with too much money given to Rangers manager Graeme Souness. Foreign & English players meant that home grown players weren't given a chance to flourish and the national side suffered as a result. Things are looking better since the financial crisis that has hit Scottish football, a limited TV revenue means that Scottish teams will be forced to develop home grown talent, Rangers already invested heavily in this area 10 years ago and it is now bearing fruit. I think Scotland have not a bad side now but their low ranking means that they will struggle to qualify for major tournaments in the near future until they can become a 2nd seed in the qualifying groups.
