Which specialized mountain bike should I get?

I am looking at two models the epic comp 29er and the stumpjumper fsr comp 29er. The epic is slightly more money but is it really worth the extra cash?So which one should I get? I am going to be riding all around in Colorado and I ride around Crested Butte all the time.
